I’ve had this phobia – bambakomallophobia, to give it its suitably ludicrous official name – for as long as I can remember.

She thinks it could take six to eight sessions of therapy for me to manage my cotton-wool phobia and that I will need to do a lot of work between them to challenge my thinking.
